I just saw these on HGTV. I am definately going to try them! I read a news article on them and they say they really do work.
Designed to reduce drying time and soften fabrics without the use of chemical fabric softeners, Dryer Balls are an eco-friendly solution to landfill-clogging dryer sheets and chemical-laden liquid softeners. As your wet laundry tumbles in the dryer, these bumpy balls lift and separate fabric to make it soft and fluffy, and allow air to flow more efficiently.
Proven to make ironing easier, decrease lint and reduce drying time up to 25% in independent testing.

Just saw these at Bed, Bath, and Beyond - $9.99 for two.
Bought them there this weekend and used them. I am now obsessed with dryer balls! They definately cut down the amount of time it took to dry my clothes. I am going to buy 2 more b/c it says you can use 4 at a time!!!
I just used them too- I'm much happier not using drier sheets! (They are the #1 cause of dryer fires anyway) I think I will need 4 dryer balls though because I did a huge load of laundry and it didn't cut down the drying time...but no static!
